This year has been amazing. The Ottawa Craft Beer community is so vibrant! You spoke, and we listened.

In our first year of business, we established relationships with creative and inspiring breweries, including all of their hard-working staff. We got to deliver to a multitude of craft beer lovers and converts.  Every delivery was received with a smile because our customers were getting craft beer right to their door. 

Over the course of the past year, we have also learned a lot about the spending habits of craft beer lovers. They love selection and aren't afraid to experiment, which is fantastic because Ottawa has almost daily new beer releases.  For this reason, with this past year's experience guiding us, we have decided to adjust the delivery fees and beer prices for the Brew Donkey delivery service. 

Starting on January 1st, 2015, all beer prices on our site will include an 10% convenience fee, i.e. a bottle that previously retailed for $16.00 (with tax and deposit) will now be $17.80 (with tax and deposit).  With this change in pricing, we can now offer a variety of delivery prices for different purchasing levels.*  For the full delivery pricing see this table.  Our delivery charges now range from $12-$6.

We believe that these changes will ensure our services are reasonably-priced, profitable and sustainable, and therefore will allow us to continue to offer a valuable service to the craft beer-loving community of Ottawa.

In addition to these changes, we are exploring the feasibility of adding new delivery areas to our map. Our hope is to add communities that are adjacent to our current delivery zones for an added fee.
