Craft Beer Lovers Can Now Raise Funds by Raising a Glass
Brew Donkey’s Month of Giving program aims at supporting local charities

OTTAWA, ONTARIO, July 30th, 2015 – Brew Donkey, Ottawa’s first and only craft beer delivery and brewery tour service, is stepping up its charitable game. This time we’re offering craft beer aficionados an opportunity to get involved as well.

From charitable beer runs to bottle drives, craft beer and craft beer lovers have a special sense of community. That philanthropic spirit is no more evident than in the nation’s capital.

Building upon the success of last year’s Charity Tours Series, where portions of money from tours were donated to local charities, we are designating August as our Month of Giving. Three local charities have been chosen to receive awareness and funds, and this time, our customers are invited to be a part of it.

“The Charity Tours Series was a great success and we were very happy to help out local charities like Operation Come Home and the Ottawa Riverkeepers. This year we decided to operate a month long program that will help raise awareness and funds for our three chosen charities, and allow our customers to get involved,” says Brad Campeau, owner/operator.

How it works

Five dollars from each brewery tour booked will be donated to one of the three charities featured on Brew Donkey’s checkout page. Customers will have the opportunity to direct the donation to the charity of their choice.

“The craft beer community and Ottawa at large have been very supportive of us. Brew Donkey's Month of Giving is our way of giving back and supporting local and regional charities that are important to us and our clientele."
