Start Date: August 2022 - March 2023 (with potential for permanent)
Position and Payment:
Full Time - $25-35 per hour - Salary is based on previous work experience
Monday - Friday
35-40 hours a week

Brew Donkey is a craft beer-focused company offering brewery bus tours and walking tours that highlight the local craft beer scene: brewing, breweries, tastings and experiences. 


Reporting to the owner/director, the Manager is responsible for developing key partnerships (travel trade) as well as business development to corporate clients with the ultimate goal of increasing sales from existing and new partnerships.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of new products geared to travel trade operators visiting Ottawa.

  • Implement and manage partnerships with travel trade partners, wholesalers and DMO‘s to ensure ROI.

  • Build the optimal network of key travel trade partners to distribute products.

  • Provide a thorough competitive landscape of the market in relation to the positioning of client’s product.

  • Develop a business plan covering budgets, rationale and an overview of the projects and partnerships that are required to enter the market with our product.

  • Identify the different funnels and the correct stakeholders in the travel community for our products and services.

  • Organize sales missions, familiarization trips and events. Conducting product seminars and presentations and sales calls.

  • Manage and build relationships with travel trade (corporate travel agents, incentive houses etc.) and corporate end clients to ensure market growth in MICE segment. Provide an analysis of the potential of MICE business and a leads-generation plan.

  • Meet yearly revenue and result targets set by the management.

  • Provide monthly updates and feedback to management.

Your Key Skills and Knowledge:

  • Diploma / Degree with at least 2 to 3 years of working experience in related field.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Good analytical and presentation skills, marketing and persuasive skills.

  • Self-initiative, ability to prioritize and plan effectively.

  • Successful candidates will have prior experience in Travel Industry related business development role.

  • Highly motivated, eager and success-driven team player with ability to interact with people at all levels.

  • Bilingual (French and English) written and spoken is an asset

Work Conditions:

  • Employee will be able to work from home and in office 50/50

  • Employee will be visiting industrial brewing facilities with dust, noise, and smells of fermentation.
